Anaheim East District Residents,

The East District Neighborhood Council Quarterly Meeting is this week on Thursday, July 15th at 7:00 P.M at the site of the future Miraloma Way Park and Community Center at 2600 E Miraloma Way, Anaheim. The site is located on the corner of Miraloma Way and Sunshine Way, off of Miraloma Avenue at the northwest corner of the 91 and 57 Freeway intersection.

David Wain and I will both be out of town, so we won’t able to be at the meeting. Earl Kelso, the Past East District Council Chair, has graciously agreed to lead the meeting in our absence.

Anaheim East District Residents,

The East District Neighborhood Council Quarterly Meeting is this week on Thursday, April 16th at Canyon High School at 7:00 P.M. (near the southeast corner of Imperial Highway and Santa Ana Canyon Road). It will be held in the school library, which is in the center of the campus. Anaheim Sporn, our East District Neighborhood Services Specialist, said signs will be placed to direct everyone to the meeting room location.

3. Fairmont/SR-91 Overcrossing – John Lower & Doug Park, Traffic Engineering

We will be having a presentation on last year’s Complex Fire Updates & Information by Deputy Fire Chief Scott Berg. This will be very relevant to the Anaheim Hills residents. We are to receive information on current fire services preparation, what was learned, what Anaheim is doing and how Anaheim compares with what happened in Yorba Linda.

We will be getting an update on the joint study with Yorba Linda on the plans for what is to be done with Fairmont Blvd between Santa Ana Canyon Road on the south side of the 91 Freeway and La Palma on the north side, which will be presented by John Lower & Doug Park with Traffic Engineering.

The City will be re-landscaping a large section of the south side of Santa Ana Canyon Road and we will have a presentation on this project by Rudy Emami with Public Works.
